EF PICTURES, founded in 2019 by Zlata Yefimenko, is a full-cycle production company specializing in the creation of short and feature-length narrative and documentary films. The company focuses on supporting young filmmakers and producing auteur cinema that explores pressing social issues.
We take pride in collaborating with directors who boldly experiment and push the boundaries of traditional filmmaking. Our projects challenge stereotypes, expand the limits of cinema, and employ unconventional storytelling techniques.
Special attention is given to films that address important social issues such as inclusion, human rights, ecology, gender equality, and other pressing matters of contemporary society. Our goal is to create films that inspire dialogue and encourage a fresh perspective on societal challenges.
EF PICTURES actively collaborates with international filmmakers and organizations, expanding the geographic scope of our projects and strengthening our impact on the global film industry.

Our Principles
Creative Leadership:
A producer must bring together the creative vision of the director and the team with the realities of production. Our task is to guide the project towards success, maintaining a balance between the original idea and the budget.
Effective Resource Management:
Managing time, finances, and the team is key to a successful project. Keeping expenses in check, adhering to the schedule, and optimizing resources ensure that the film is completed on time and without overspending.
Teamwork and Connections:
Our goal is to create the ideal working environment for the team. This requires selecting the right professionals, from the director to the sound engineer, as well as maintaining excellent relationships with partners and investors.
Flexibility and Problem Solving:
Unforeseen situations always arise during film production. A successful producer must be ready to respond swiftly to changes and find creative solutions to any problems.
Promotion and Distribution:
Making a film is only half the battle. It is crucial to ensure the film reaches its audience. I would focus on developing strategies for promoting and distributing the film both locally and internationally, considering all available platforms—from cinemas to streaming services.
